Things get a little strange in the treatment room, which features an operating room with a cabinet of happy organs (the organs have faces on them), which can be dragged and dropped onto/into a patient on the surgical table. The cafeteria features both indoor and outdoor patio seating, which opens into a nice greenspace. In the lobby level, kids can check out the waiting room, check in with a receptionist and take a ticket, get a drink from the water cooler, and check out the food offerings in the cafeteria. Once in the secret lab, kids can play around with potions and check out the strange sloth-alligator-like creature there. The basement level of Toca Life: Hospital features a garage where players can explore a parked ambulance, laundry chute, break/locker room, janitor closet, and a secret lab. Toca Life: Hospital features five hospital floors for kids to explore: Basement/Garage, Entrance/ER, Treatment, Family Care and General Care and includes a hospice wing. Toca Life: Hospital is available to download for a one-time purchase of $2.99, and does not feature any advertisements or additional in-app purchases. Toca Boca implements all of the things children may encounter in a hospital setting into five floors, giving children an idea of what hospitals are and how they function through imaginative play.Īs with the other Toca Life apps, Hospital is wholly interactive giving children the opportunity to explore at will. The third installment in the wildly successful, interactive and educational Toca Life series of apps is Toca Life: Hospital.
